The company’s focus on sustainability has led to the introduction of a new packaging format that is more easily recycled. This initiative is expected to expand to other products in the range, in addition to the existing 350 ml sports cap bottles, if successful.
Michelle Frost, the General Manager at Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats, emphasizes that the launch of this new packaging format provides consumers with more sustainable options, thus increasing their choices.
“Cans are a popular choice for on-the-go consumption but are also commonly used at home. Given that the product can be stored at room temperature, shoppers have the convenience of taking the cans home and chilling them at their own pace before enjoying,” explains Frost.
Both the Mars and Galaxy Milk Drink cans are available in cases of 12 x 250 ml, with a recommended selling price of £1.20 per case.
