The XTRs is the successor to Proseal’s GTR tray sealing machine, renowned as the workhorse of the food production industry. This new machine, known as the XTRs, is a semi-automatic, two-station rotary-table that has the capacity to seal up to 30 packs per minute using a two-impression tool, all without the need for compressed air.
Featuring a plug-and-play design, the XTRs is incredibly user-friendly, boasting a Human Machine Interface (HMI) that offers multi-language settings, diagnostics, and alerts that are automatically recorded for easy reference. The HMI also enables the use of recipe-driven product changes and an automatic tool lock for added convenience.
One of the key advantages of the XTRs is its all-electric sealing capability, which ensures a consistent and efficient seal force. This not only reduces energy consumption but also lowers the total cost of ownership for the user.
Additionally, the machine has been specifically redesigned to meet the demands of the modern food production industry. It now allows for front loading of tools, simplifying the tool changeover process, and is fully compatible with legacy GTR tooling.
President of Proseal, Jon Garner, states that the XTRs represents the latest advancement in their industry-leading tray sealing technology. He emphasizes the company’s commitment to quality, service, accuracy, and responsiveness, and highlights the sustainability and efficiency benefits of the XTRs. Moreover, he underlines how the XTRs offers compatibility with the tools that customers have come to rely on every day.
With its impressive capabilities and user-friendly design, the XTRs is set to revolutionize the tray sealing and case packing equipment sector. Proseal’s dedication to innovation and meeting customer needs is evident in this new offering.
