SIAL PARIS LOOKS AHEAD TO 2028 WITH AN ENHANCED TWO-VENUE EXPERIENCE

SIAL PARIS LOOKS AHEAD TO 2028 WITH AN ENHANCED TWO-VENUE EXPERIENCE Food and Beverage Business

Paris Nord Villepinte and Paris-Le Bourget will host a single SIAL Paris event to offer exhibitors and visitors more space, clearer layouts and new event formats.

“The choice of two venues responds to a simple priority: to enhance the experience of our exhibitors and visitors. More space in the halls, sectors grouped according to buyers’ needs, new event venues and improved accessibility will enable us to continue our growth under better conditions. Paris Nord Villepinte and Paris-Le Bourget will form a single SIAL Paris, with the same high standards of service and the same international ambition.”

says Jean-Gabriel Mollard, Director of SIAL Paris

🍋In the run-up to the 2026 edition (17–21 October), Comexposium has announced a new phase in the development of SIAL Paris for the year 2028. The trade fair will be held simultaneously at Paris Nord Villepinte, its long-standing venue, and at Paris-Le Bourget. This arrangement primarily serves a practical purpose: to improve the conditions for participation and for visits whilst providing the trade fair with the resources to support its long-term growth.

The two venues will operate as complementary parts of a single event, with a shared badge, a coordinated programme and dedicated, continuous links between them. The layout of the sectors has been designed to bring together offerings that share the same purchasing channels, the same uses and the same professional communities.

An enhanced experience

Spanning two venues will not only increase visitor capacity but also enable the creation of clearly defined zones and the design of visitor routes encouraging discovery and interaction, and providing exhibitors with spaces tailored to their needs, whilst developing new opportunities for activities and experiences. For visitors, this additional floor space will offer greater comfort, reducing overcrowded areas. Time spent at the exhibition can be better devoted to exploring products, attending business meetings and engaging with exhibitors.

Sectors grouped together to create greater synergies and make the most of your visit

Paris Nord Villepinte will continue to host a large part of SIAL Paris’s exhibition areas. Paris-Le Bourget will bring together beverages, hot beverages, wines and spirits, delicatessen products, frozen foods, ice cream and sorbets, as well as catering products and snacks. This grouping will bring a new coherence to the buyers’ journey. A retailer, restaurateur, importer or foodservice operator will be able to explore complementary categories within a single environment and identify product combinations more easily. For exhibitors, this proximity should encourage interaction between different buyer groups, broaden networking opportunities and make their presence more visible to relevant visitors.

New event spaces to bring products and expertise to life

The layout of Paris-Le Bourget will also enable the creation of new spaces for events, demonstrations and presentations. Tasting sessions, competitions, culinary stages, forward-looking content and professional networking opportunities will further showcase the products, brands and expertise of the sectors represented.

These formats will be integrated into the visitor journey. They will boost the sectors’ visibility, provide further reasons to extend the visit and facilitate exchanges between manufacturers, distributors, buyers, chefs and influencers.

Improved accessibility thanks to the expansion of the Greater Paris transport networkParis-Le Bourget is benefiting from the transport and accessibility investments initiated for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which are being extended through developments planned up to 2030. In particular, the planned arrival of Line 17 of the Grand Paris Express will further improve connections between Paris-Le Bourget, central Paris and the northern Greater Paris region. The proximity of the two exhibition centres will enable continuous, dedicated services to be organised between Paris Nord Villepinte and Paris-Le Bourget. Transport arrangements, operating hours and practical information will be finalised in the run-up to the 2028 event to ensure a seamless journey from one venue to the other.

A single SIAL Paris

This new format does not alter the essence of SIAL Paris: it simply provides more space for it to shine. With this development, SIAL Paris is paving the way for its long-term growth and enhancing the conditions under which the global food community can come together, discover trends and forge new business opportunities.
