Ishida Europe is set to return to Gulfood Manufacturing (GFM) 2026, where it will present integrated weighing, packing and inspection solutions designed to help food producers increase efficiency, minimise waste and maintain consistently high quality standards.

As investment in automated packing solutions accelerates across the Middle East food manufacturing sector, manufacturers are seeking technologies that can improve productivity while responding to rising market demand. Ishida’s latest systems are designed to support these objectives and reflect key food manufacturing trends across the region.

The exhibition takes place from 3–5 November 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Visitors can meet Ishida’s specialists at Stand C3-4 in Hall 3 to discuss current operational challenges and explore practical automation solutions.

A central feature of the stand will be the Inspira iTPS snack food packing system. The demonstration will show how weighing, bagmaking and seal testing can operate as one coordinated process to deliver high throughput, efficient production and reliable seal integrity. The display will also include Ishida solutions for tray sealing, product inspection and production monitoring, helping manufacturers improve line performance and meet the demands of food and drink regulations.

Ishida will also highlight its expertise in multihead weighing with the CCW-AS, configured specifically for frozen food applications. The machine forms part of the company’s broad multihead weigher portfolio, which is engineered to process a wide variety of products while achieving accurate weights, minimal giveaway and consistent output. These capabilities support efficient operations and align with evolving food processing technology requirements.

The QX-500 tray sealer will demonstrate how producers can introduce advanced automation while retaining production flexibility. Its compact design, fast tool-change capability and operation without compressed air allow it to accommodate multiple tray and film formats. At the same time, it maintains dependable sealing performance for modern food and drink packaging operations.

To support stricter quality assurance and compliance expectations, Ishida will exhibit the IX-PD X-ray inspection system together with the DACS-GN-SE checkweigher, which incorporates a CEIA metal detector. Combined, these systems provide a comprehensive approach to inspection, helping manufacturers identify contaminants, verify product weight and protect brand reputation.

Ishida’s Sentinel 5.0 production monitoring software will complete the technology showcase. By presenting production information as clear, actionable insight, the platform gives operators greater visibility into plant performance. Real-time data can help teams identify underused capacity, improve overall equipment effectiveness and respond quickly to operational issues—priorities reflected across food and beverage industry trends and food distribution trends.

Steve Jones, Marketing Director of Ishida Europe, said: “Gulfood Manufacturing is the region’s leading event for engaging with food producers and packers, discussing the pain points they are facing and demonstrating how the latest processing and packaging technologies can help overcome their challenges.

“Across the industry, businesses are under increasing pressure to enhance productivity, reduce costs and maintain the highest levels of product quality and compliance. By bringing together weighing, packing, inspection and data monitoring technologies within a single, fully integrated line, Ishida demonstrate how food manufacturers and -packers can gain greater control of their operations. This helps to improve overall equipment effectiveness and to make better-informed decisions based on real-time production data.”

The integrated approach also supports wider food and drink industry innovation by connecting production equipment, quality control and performance data within a unified manufacturing environment. It can help businesses respond to food and drink consumer trends, strengthen food and drink sustainability initiatives by reducing waste, and create more informed strategies for food and drink marketing.

Visitors can meet the Ishida team at Stand C3-4 in Hall 3 during Gulfood Manufacturing. More information about Ishida’s solutions is available at www.ishidaeurope.com/en
