This initiative is part of a significant £20m investment program aimed at enhancing its fibre-based packaging operations over the next five years. This commitment reflects the growing importance of sustainable packaging in the food and drink sector.

Scheduled to open in November, the new site will expand the group’s paperboard capacity. This expansion will not only fortify its fibre-based packaging offerings but also meet the increasing consumer demand for sustainable packaging solutions.

Godmanchester will emerge as Paranova’s fourth and largest fibre-based packaging facility in the UK. This strategic move positions the company to better support the surging demand for eco-friendly packaging options, particularly within the fresh produce, convenience, and food-to-go sectors. As trends in food and drink marketing evolve, Paranova is poised to lead the charge in food and drink sustainability.
