Multimodal 2026 Launches Dedicated Event App to Transform the Show Experience

Multimodal 2026 Launches Dedicated Event App to Transform the Show Experience Food and Beverage Business

New web-based app offers live updates, meeting requests and seamless networking — with exhibitors enjoying early access.

Multimodal 2026, the UK’s leading freight transport, logistics and supply chain management exhibition, has unveiled a brand-new, purpose-built event app, designed to give every attendee a smarter, more connected and more structured experience at this year’s show, taking place 30th June to 2nd July 2026 at the NEC Birmingham.

Being fully web-based, the app requires no download from an app store, meaning attendees can access it instantly via a QR code or link sent directly to them. Exhibitors will be invited to complete their profiles initially, with visitors to follow shortly afterwards.

Always Up to Date, Always in You’re
The Multimodal 2026 app gives attendees access to the very latest exhibitor list, conference sessions and speaker line-up, all of which is updated live so the information is never out of date.

The app also integrates with calendars allowing users to plan and schedule sessions directly from the platform. This means visitors can arrive at the show with a structured schedule already mapped out.

Powerful New Networking Capabilities

One of the app’s most exciting features is the ability for visitors and exhibitors to request meetings with one another directly through the platform, before and during the Show. This two-way meeting request tool fundamentally changes how meaningful business connections are made at Multimodal, facilitating purposeful, pre-arranged conversations.

The app is designed to increase value for all attendees by providing:

•   Live, real-time updates to exhibitor listings, sessions and speakers

•   An at-a-glance full conference schedule and speaker profiles

•   The ability for exhibitors and visitors to request meetings with each other during the Show

•   Calendar integration to help plan and manage the three days

•   An exhibitor directory to browse and shortlist companies in advance

Commenting on the App, Robert Jervis, Event Director, Multimodal said, “The Multimodal app is about putting the whole Show in the palm of your hand. Whether you’re an exhibitor looking to connect with the right visitors, or a visitor who wants a structured, productive three days on the show floor, the app is designed to help you get the very most out of Multimodal 2026.”

How to Access the App

The Multimodal 2026 app is entirely web-based meaning there is nothing to download from an app store. Visitors can set up their app profile at the point of registration or at any time afterwards. All attendees will receive a personalised QR code and direct link giving immediate access to the platform.

Registration for Multimodal 2026 is free and now open. Visitors can set up their app profile as part of the registration process at: https://forms.reg.buzz/multimodal-2026.

Industry-Leading Speakers: FPC and IGD Confirmed

Building excitement further, Multimodal 2026 is pleased to confirm that two of the UK grocery industry’s most influential bodies, the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) and the Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD), will participate as official partners, exhibiting and speaking at this year’s event.

Their participation signals just how central logistics has become to the grocery sector’s strategic agenda. Both organisations will have stands on the exhibition floor and contribute to the conference programme, creating direct opportunities for logistics businesses to engage with one of their most demanding and complex customer sectors.

This is in addition to a packed conference programme spanning four theatres over three days, with participation from Logistics UK, BIFA, UKWA, RfG, CILT, CIOE&IT, Cold Chain Federation (CCF) and RHA amongst others. All sessions will be visible and bookable through the new Multimodal app.

Looking forward to the biggest event ever

Following a record-breaking 2025 event, which saw a 4% increase in visitor numbers, Multimodal 2026 is set to be the biggest and most connected edition yet. The Show takes place across the NEC Birmingham from 30th June to 2nd July 2026, as the flagship event of UK Logistics Week 2026, which will also see Warehouse+, Yard, eDX and The Road Transport Expo (at NAEC Stoneleigh) uniting the UK’s logistics community like never before.

Attendees can also look forward to:

•   The Multimodal Mixer drinks reception, open to all attendees in the main hall

•   The prestigious Multimodal Awards on the evening of 30th June — celebrating outstanding industry-leading supply chain businesses and individuals (seats have sold out early over the last three years so early booking is strongly advised).
