MM Packaging Deeside has successfully completed the rollout of over 15 million confectionery advent calendar packs for the UK’s leading brands and retailers. This year, Christmas production surged to record levels, powered by the cartonboard specialist’s advanced manufacturing and design capabilities.

Advent calendars have emerged as a vital sales driver for brands, steering shoppers towards early festive purchases. This year, demand surged, reflecting consumers’ growing appetite for confectionery—a trend that is anticipated to continue. In fact, last year, the UK’s Christmas confectionery market was valued at £853 million, an increase of £88 million from 2023.
