ULMA’s latest flow wrapping machine, the FM305C, has proven to be a perfect fit for Eurilait’s diverse range of French and British cheeses. For over a decade, ULMA has played a crucial role in Eurilait’s growth, starting with the installation of a Nevada flow wrapping machine in 2006.

As Eurilait’s business expanded, the need for a more advanced packaging solution became apparent to replace their aging Nevada machine. ULMA’s FM305C emerged as the superior choice, offering unmatched flexibility and efficiency. Damian Wills, engineering manager at Eurilait, explained, “Our previous machine served us well for nearly two decades, but natural wear and tear began to impact its performance, prompting us to upgrade.”

Designed for fresh food products, the stainless-steel FM305C features a box motion sealing head powered by two independent motors. While accommodating different product shapes and sizes, the FM305C ensures high-quality hermetic seals, thereby preserving the freshness of Eurilait’s cheeses.

Nick Ghent, sales manager at ULMA Packaging, emphasized the importance of adaptability in a packaging line, stating, “Given that many fresh food businesses offer multiple products, having a packaging line that can adapt accordingly is essential.”

ULMA and Eurilait’s longstanding relationship played a crucial role in this successful installation, as Damian Wills further stated, “We have a longstanding relationship with the ULMA team, having purchased multiple machines in the past. So, I simply contacted our dedicated contact and shared our specific criteria.”
