Yop has introduced innovative food and beverage packaging, featuring clear PET material that includes 35% rPET. The new micro-perforated sleeves offer clear instructions for consumers, emphasizing the importance of removing them before placing the bottles in recycling bins.
Additionally, each bottle now includes an attached cap. This design facilitates easy sorting and recycling of the PET bottles and caps while also helping to minimize littering.
“Our ambition is for all of our packaging to be recyclable by the end of 2025 and the move to PET and inclusion of rPET in our Yop bottles this year and the move to PET for our Petits Filous, Wildlife, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol pots last year has seen us take a huge step towards this ambition,” explains Antoine Hours, general manager at Yoplait UK.
Furthermore, “We are confident that we can move towards being a more circular brand as technologies and infrastructures become more sophisticated.” This commitment underscores Yop’s dedication to sustainability and responsible packaging.
In addition to these advancements, Yop will feature the new Yoplait logo. The packaging will also include enhanced information on the back to educate consumers about the unique qualities of Yop.
Currently, Yop is available in refreshing Strawberry and Raspberry flavors, catering to diverse consumer preferences.
