Valmatic Completes Acquisition of Italpak in Modena food and drink packaging, food and drink sustainable packaging, Food packaging Food and Beverage Business Valmatic

In a strategic move to enhance its position in the food and nutraceutical packaging market, Valmatic has officially acquired Italpak, a Modena-based company known for its expertise in single-dose and single-portion packaging. Over the last 25 years, Italpak has built a strong reputation as a trusted partner for prominent Italian and international brands.

As part of the acquisition, Italpak has transferred 100% of its business and assets to Valmatic. The production lines have been relocated to Valmatic’s facilities at Via Dante Alighieri 1/A in San Prospero, just a short distance from Valmatic’s Head Quarter at Via Turati, 5, also in San Prospero (Modena) Italy. This strategic move aligns with Valmatic’s growth strategies to strengthen its presence in third-party packaging, private label, and single-dose packaging segments.

“Italpak offers third-party packaging services and complete formulation of supplements in liquid and powder form,” said Maurizio Levratti, CEO of Valmatic, expressing his excitement about integrating Italpak’s expertise into Valmatic’s core business. “This acquisition enables us to expand our commercial offering with innovative and functional packaging solutions formulated and produced under private labels.”

The marketing of these products will be managed by Encanto, a company within the Valmatic group that specializes in the distribution and promotion of food and nutraceutical products. The synergy between the group’s companies will optimize distribution effectiveness and deliver a comprehensive and timely service that caters to the needs of customers and end consumers.
