The Ćatić Company has recently chosen to implement Berry Global’s UniPak container for their renowned Waltz cream rolls. To accommodate the varying tastes of consumers, they offer Waltz cream rolls in five mouth-watering flavors, including chocolate, hazelnut, strawberry, orange, and vanilla.
The Serbian confectionery firm aimed to find a new food packaging solution that would be practical, easy to stack, and most importantly, appeal to their sugary customers. After exploring a variety of options, the UniPak series from Berry Global stood out as one of the most diverse and adaptable packaging ranges in Europe.
UniPak serves as a classic, flexible solution capable of fulfilling a broad range of packaging requirements. It is available in various sizes and shapes, including rectangular, square, round, and oval. After an extensive search, the CEO of Ćatić, Bajro Ćatić, ultimately decided that the rectangular 600 ml UniPak container would best suit their needs, with the addition of a lid and in-mould labelling (IML).
Bajro Ćatić explained how they were looking for a new packaging supplier that could act as a partner and provide an option that worked without major design changes. He remarked, “The Berry UniPak container turned out to be the ideal solution, and we made the switch as soon as possible. We are extremely satisfied with the UniPak’s quality and design.”
The UniPak’s versatility and exceptional design have allowed them to continue offering the same pack format that customers are accustomed to. Additionally, the lighter packaging has enabled them to make minor adjustments to their filling line.
The UniPak containers and lids are produced at Berry’s facility in Gračanica, Bosnia & Herzegovina, which is located roughly 300 kilometers from Ćatić’s facilities in Ivanje, Serbia. Bajro Ćatić praised Berry’s reliability, their ability to meet deadlines, and their meticulous attention to detail throughout the decision-making process.
