The Wilkins Group Prepares to Commemorate 60 Years of Success "Wilkins Group, 60th anniversary", celebrate Food and Beverage Business

The Wilkins Group, a Nottingham-based company, boasts an extensive client base in the retail and manufacturing sectors. With an impressive UK turnover of £50m projected for this year, they claim to be the largest independent carton company in the UK. Their commitment to growth is evident as they continue to accelerate their business.

It all began in 1963 when graphic designer Ken Wilkins founded Ken Wilkins Design Associates, which later became Ken Wilkins Print before becoming a part of The Wilkins Group. Ken’s son André Wilkins showed a keen interest in production and manufacturing and started a printing operation of his own.

Over the years, their facilities expanded, and now they have an impressive head office and a fully integrated warehouse and logistics facility that spans 170,000 sq. ft. They even have a facility in Sri Lanka. Currently, The Wilkins Group employs 340 people at their headquarters in Colwick, and it is their dedication and hard work that contribute to the company’s success.

Justin Wilkins, Director of The Wilkins Group, emphasizes their reputation as an innovative, design-focused, and competitively-priced company. They specialize in food packaging for leading UK supermarkets and are also developing carton board packaging to support eco initiatives. Moving forward, their goal is to continuously improve efficiency. Thanks to their phase three factory extension, they have already increased capacity in their print and die-cutting departments. Additionally, they aim to achieve a £50M turnover in the UK later this year.

Overall, The Wilkins Group stands out in their field, delivering excellent products and services while embracing innovation and sustainability. Their success is a testament to their dedicated team and their commitment to continuous improvement.
