The new Stagione PE coated pots offer an alternative specification for customers who do not require the reheating functionality of Colpac’s PP coated Stagione. With a lightweight design, Stagione PE coated pots improve transport efficiency and are available at a lower cost. They come in 500ml, 750ml, and 1000ml sizes, making them suitable for instant serve, hot hold, chilled, and delivered food. The PE coating provides a grease resistance barrier for a wide variety of dishes. For higher specification barrier requirements, Colpac’s PP coated Stagione pots are also available.
These products are extremely versatile thanks to their multiple lid options. The paperboard PE lined lid is single skinned, contributing to the lightweight design of the range. Self-venting tabs make the lid suitable for chilled, hot, and delivered food. There is also an rPET lid with an anti-mist coating for clarity in chilled display. Both lids fit all three sizes of PE coated Stagione, reducing SKU counts for distributors and retailers.
In response to the growing demand for food packaging with increased functionality, Colpac has expanded the usage of its PP coated Stagione products. These pots are now certified for oven reheating, in addition to being suitable for microwave reheating and display in hot hold cabinets.
