Senior Appointments in the Meat, Drinks, and Ingredients Industry Food and Beverage Business

Sleaford Quality Foods, a provider of ingredients and blends to the food and drink industry, has welcomed Trevor Holmes as its innovation manager. Holmes joins after a 26-year stint at Bakkavor, where he was group culinary innovation chef. Sleaford Managing Director James Arnold said Holmes’ “vast experience, skills and vision will be vital” in expanding innovation capabilities “during 2023 and beyond”. Meanwhile, Cawston Press, a drinks manufacturer, has appointed Jeeten Poonit as operations director. Poonit previously served in senior roles at Godiva, Britvic and Diageo. Additionally, Wales’ meat promotion agency HCC has welcomed four directors including Vicki Spencer-Francis, Hugh Hesketh Evans, Mike Humphreys and Caroline Sanger-Davies. They will replace three outgoing members. Wales Rural Affairs Minister Lesley Griffiths wished them success in enhancing marketing, supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
