Żubrówka, the world-renowned Polish vodka brand, is proud to introduce the first-ever craft beer to feature the coveted Bison Grass, known for its distinctive and enigmatic flavor. This exclusive launch is made possible through a partnership with Beer52, a craft beer subscription service.

With a legacy spanning 500 years, Żubrówka is instantly recognizable for the iconic blade of bison grass in every bottle. Now, the newly created Polish Bison Grass Wheat Craft Beer aims to capture the essence and exciting flavor profile of the original vodka, showcasing the long-standing appeal and aromatic qualities of this celebrated ingredient.

Brewed at 4.2% using the essence of bison grass, the beer is a celebration of the unique and aromatic taste of the ingredient, presenting notes of almond, vanilla, coconut, and lavender.

Named in homage to the bison (“żubr” in Polish) that favor the sweet-tasting grass, Żubrówka’s bison grass is hand-picked from Poland’s Białowieża forest, a world heritage site where Europe’s last remaining herds of wild bison roam free. The intricate production process delivers an unmistakably pure and authentic taste to the world-famous vodka and now, wheat beer.

Chris Jones, managing director at Paragon Brands, the UK distributor of Żubrówka, remarked that the new Żubrówka Bison Grass Wheat Beer combines the beloved, distinctive taste expected from Żubrówka with Beer52’s brewing style.

“We’re thrilled to introduce a craft beer that is infused with 500 years of Polish tradition and spirit, saluting the rich heritage of the Żubrówka brand with an exciting new beer that is sure to appeal to vodka and beer lovers alike,” Jones said.

The Żubrówka Polish Bison Grass Beer will be featured in the December edition of Beer52’s subscription box, available from 18th November. The beer will be showcased alongside a range of products from Polish craft brewers, honoring Poland’s tradition of producing high-quality alcohol.
