Domino Printing Sciences has recently unveiled a cutting-edge thermal inkjet (TIJ) system tailored specifically for flexible packaging lines, particularly in food applications.
The new TIJ into TTO solution, in combination with the Domino Gx-Series range, is a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional thermal transfer overprinting (TTO) for flexible packaging lines that require straightforward 1-, 2-, or 4-line printed text codes as well as small-sized 2D codes up to 10mm².
Conducting rigorous on-site testing prior to its launch, the TIJ into TTO solution with the Domino Gx-Series range was put to the test at various trial sites with basic text code requirements currently managed by existing TTO technologies.
