For over four decades, Brześć has excelled in creating sweet and savoury confectionery products, with its standout offerings being steamed dough items such as puffs, mini eclairs (or crunchy puffs), mini puffs, and fillable puffs. This expertise aligns with the growing consumer interest in innovative food and drink sustainability.

Brześć has established a robust partnership with Hadepol Flexo, now known as Coveris Rypin, following its acquisition by the Coveris Group in June 2024. This collaboration has facilitated the introduction of recyclable mono-material film into full-scale production, significantly enhancing sustainable packaging options for food and drink products.

According to Coveris, this new film features high transparency, enabling consumers to easily view products directly on the shelf, thereby increasing shelf appeal. Furthermore, it is optimized for eight-color flexographic printing with choices of matte or gloss finishes, effectively enhancing brand identity and positioning in the competitive food and drink marketing landscape.

Wojciech Jankowski, head of sales at Coveris Rypin, stated: “We are very pleased with the successful launch of puff products in recyclable BOPP films, produced at our Rypin facility. This sustainable alternative to non-recyclable materials offers the same protective performance while saving resources and helping both suppliers and food chains in meeting their sustainability goals.”

Additionally, Arkadiusz Drążek, chief executive of Brześć Sipa, emphasized: “Thanks to the trust and support of Coveris Rypin, we are planning to expand the production of mono-material packaging across additional products in the near future.” This strategic move reflects the strong alignment with current food and drink consumer trends that favor sustainability.
