The highlight of this launch is Sustaina Black, which will be available soon. This product utilizes Nature Coatings’ cutting-edge black pigment derived from wood waste, marking it as the world’s first carbon-free black pigmented barrier-coated paper and board.
The complete Sustaina collection features:
- Sustaina Black – A carbon-free black pigment with a barrier coating, suitable for direct food contact and offering exceptional resistance to grease and moisture.
- Sustaina Pack – A lightweight barrier board utilizing half the standard coating weight, boasting strong moisture and oil protection. Additionally, it is PFAS-free and widely recyclable in paper waste streams.
- Sustaina Oven – This heat-resistant, aqueous dispersion-coated board can withstand temperatures up to 220ºC and is recyclable in the paper waste stream.
- Sustaina Cup – Designed as a recyclable alternative to traditional PE-coated cups, it is recyclable as a mono-material, repulpable, and PFAS-free.
- Sustaina Flute – A microfluted corrugated board that is free from PE and PET, providing excellent grease and moisture barriers and is fully recyclable within paper recycling systems.
- Sustaina Flex – A flexible, heat-sealable barrier solution that is completely recyclable and repulpable, offering outstanding protection against grease, water, and oxygen.
