Priplak Classic – Black, 800mic, and Priplak Basik – Frosted Clear, 750mic, both available from Antalis’ Visual Communications product range, were carefully selected to create the jackets for the innovative Fwrap wine cooler.

Developed by Tower Print for their prestigious client, Green Chilly Company®, the Fwrap wine cooler showcases a premium jacket made from Priplak. Combining strength, durability, and flexibility, Priplak provides the ideal material for a wide range of communication and display products, point of sale materials, packaging, stationery, and now wine coolers.

Priplak met and exceeded all the criteria set by the Green Chilly Company for the Fwrap jacket. This hygienic and easy-to-clean material offers exceptional strength and flexibility, ensuring long-lasting sturdiness. Furthermore, Priplak’s sustainability credentials make it a truly responsible choice. Plus, it is fully printable, allowing for creative designs and branding.

Priplak, made from polypropylene, is free from halogens, chlorine, and plasticisers like phthalates. Not only can products made from Priplak be recycled multiple times without significant changes to their physical properties, but the material itself boasts an Antalis Green Star rating of 3, solidifying its status as an environmentally friendly option.

Compatible with UV offset, UV inkjet, and screen printing, Priplak features a corona treatment on both sides for enhanced print quality. For the Fwrap jacket, it was expertly printed on a Canon Arizona UV flatbed and cut with a Canon die cutter.

Paul Neale, Product Manager for Visual Communications at Antalis, expresses his enthusiasm, stating, “Tower Print’s ingenious use of Priplak for the Fwrap wine cooler perfectly showcases the combined sustainable and practical benefits of this exceptional material. At Antalis, we have a strategic focus on promoting our complete range of polypropylene products as a replacement for less eco-friendly plastics. Seeing Tower Print embrace and highlight the sustainable benefits of polypropylene is truly inspiring!”
