Amcor Flexibles, located in Swansea, UK, has constructed a new production line dedicated to the creation of top-of-the-line shrink bags and films for the meat and cheese industry.
In response to the growing demand for sustainable practices and waste reduction from food producers, retailers, and consumers alike, Amcor’s newly developed shrink bags and films offer an innovative high barrier PVdC-free formulation. These thin materials not only maintain performance but also possess exceptional optical properties.

Amcor’s range of PrimeSeal shrink bags and films effectively extends the shelf life of perishable products such as fresh meat. These products provide high-barrier protection against oxygen and moisture, thus ensuring the preservation of freshness and safety throughout the entire supply chain, including packing, transportation, retail, and home usage.
Amcor even offers an extra-robust version called PrimeSeal Crystal Shield, which enhances shelf-life for all types of meat and non-gassing cheese. This exceptional product protection prevents punctures and reduces leakage.

The new production line will introduce several products in Amcor’s PrimeSeal packaging range for meat, as well as the DairySeal packaging range for cheese. These include: Crystal Shield 75 shrink bag, Eco-Tite, Cook-Tite, Flow-Tite, and Form-Tite.
