The recoSTAR PET 215 HC iV+ stands out with Starlinger’s largest single extruder, achieving an impressive output of up to 2,700 kg of bottle-grade pellets per hour. This advanced PET bottle-to-bottle recycling system incorporates a pre-drying unit, high-vacuum degassing, a continuous filtration system, and an underwater pelletizer. Moreover, the viscoSTAR SSP reactor, installed at the end of the recycling process, enhances both the viscosity and decontamination level of the produced pellets. Utilizing the FIFO principle throughout the recycling process guarantees uniform treatment for each flake at the input stage and every pellet at the output stage, ensuring exceptional food-contact decontamination. Importantly, like all Starlinger recycling systems, the recoSTAR PET 215 HC iV+ is designed for low energy consumption, high production efficiency, and user-friendliness—qualities essential for sustainable food and drink packaging.

The rPET pellets generated by Starlinger’s recoSTAR PET recycling lines receive approval for food-contact applications from both national and international authorities, including the FDA (USA) and EFSA (EU). Additionally, leading brand owners in the food and beverage sector endorse these products. Alpha Ecoplast specializes in recycling domestically collected post-consumer PET bottles, producing bottle-grade rPET pellets and food-grade suitable rPET flakes for both the Indian and international markets. To keep pace with the escalating market demand for sustainable packaging, Alpha Ecoplast has already placed an order for a second Starlinger PET bottle-to-bottle recycling system of the same capacity.
