Rexnord has recently launched the Rexnord 1104 FlushTop MatTop Chain, a conveyor chain designed specifically for high-speed critical conveying, pressureless combiners and decombiners, and mass flow conveyor applications in the food and beverage industries. This new chain is an upgrade from the previous Rexnord 1000 Series and System Plast 2250 FlatTop and FlushGrid chains.
The 1104 FlushTop chain combines the advantages of the FlatTop surface and the cleanability of the FlushGrid chain. This allows users to run conveyance lines without the need for water and lubricants during the cleaning process, leading to significant water and cost savings. Additionally, the low coefficient of friction featured in the 1104 belt enables it to handle various container types, including aluminum cans, glass, and PET bottles. By providing the same functionality as previous chains, the 1104 Series simplifies maintenance and inventory management, reducing the number of required SKUs for conveyor lines.
These FlushTop chains can be easily installed in existing conveyor setups using the new Rexnord 1100 Series Sprockets. The updated sprockets offer an improved design to enhance product engagement and stability compared to the previous Rexnord 1000 Series chains. Furthermore, the sprockets are compatible with Rexnord 1040 and 1060 Series, ensuring consistent performance in connecting side-flexing areas.
