LM, a leader in the connection supply system between packaging and processing machineries, has recently completed the installation of distribution equipment for a leading wafer company in Turkey. The company, with almost 50 years of experience, specializes in providing customized solutions for its clients.
The equipment installed consisted of a series of small belt conveyors designed to handle wafers in their raw form and direct them to flowpack machines. This sale is unique for LM, as the company typically focuses on working with distributors of packaging machines. However, in this instance, the customer requested a custom solution to transport products (wafer and chocolate bars) from the process unit to two packaging machines already installed on site.
Following in-depth design analysis and customizations, LM’s technicians were dispatched to the site to take measurements for further customization of the line. The tailor-made solution not only met the customer’s specific needs but also resulted in increased production without compromising the quality of the products, maintaining the properties of the wafers and adhering to the internal schedule.
Michele Franzoni, CEO of LM, expressed pride in the recent sale in Turkey and another in Liguria, emphasizing the company’s “flexibility and competence” in providing tailor-made solutions to meet customer requirements. “We are proud to continue exceeding expectations, demonstrating that our know-how has no limits,” Franzoni added.
