Anritsu Infivis is partnering with UK-based Omori UK to present an exclusive lineup of cutting-edge detection equipment for the first time in the UK. This groundbreaking range will be showcased at the PPMA Show, held at the Birmingham NEC from 26-28 September. You can find us at stand G20.
Taking center stage on the Omori stand will be the XR75 DualX+, which represents the latest advancement in X-ray technology from Anritsu. This Photon Detector technology incorporates specialized algorithms for fish and poultry. Anritsu assures that images captured by this detector are exceptionally sharp, offering enhanced detection capabilities and minimized false rejection rates. Contaminants on the targets are visibly identified by the shadows they cast, making it easier to identify foreign bodies – including tiny fish and poultry bones as well as fine metal fragments.
Alongside the DualX+, Omori will be showcasing its own range of environmentally-friendly packaging, processing, and weighing solutions for the food, pet food, and pharmaceutical industries. Chris Keenan, sales director at Omori UK, emphasized that this comprehensive range of equipment and services will help businesses of all sizes improve their packaging and processing output.
“At Omori, our utmost commitment lies in meeting the highest quality standards and delivering exceptional performance. The DualX+ perfectly complements our solutions, as well as other Anritsu machines we supply. Food contamination can result in catastrophic consequences for both a company’s bottom line and reputation, making this latest X-ray technology from Anritsu indispensable to the food and pharma industries worldwide,” Keenan stated.
In addition to the DualX+, Anritsu offers highly effective inspection systems, including high spec metal detectors, capable of detecting a variety of foreign objects in food such as metal, glass, bone, stone, plastic, and cement. Equipment selection and placement varies depending on inspection objectives. Aside from protecting consumers from contaminants, as well as companies from costly legal recalls, these equipment have been designed to minimize power consumption and total cost of ownership.
Michael Stuart, Anritsu’s European sales director, highlighted the significance of the PPMA Show as the UK’s largest annual packaging event. He expressed delight in joining Omori at the exhibition to demonstrate the remarkable advantages the latest releases can offer UK customers.
“Poultry and fish bones, in particular, can be extremely small, requiring inspection equipment with the highest sensitivity. And that is exactly what we have achieved with the DualX+. Visitors will witness how this groundbreaking technology has evolved to eliminate contaminants from the food chain, even in non-uniform products of various sizes and shapes. It’s truly a game-changer,” Stuart emphasized.
