Acon Investments has finalized a deal to invest in KiSabor, a prominent manufacturer and distributor of consumer food products in Brazil.

The financial specifics of this transaction remain undisclosed, as it is contingent on certain conditions.

Food Brands Industria de Produtos Alimenticios, widely recognized as KiSabor, boasts an extensive product portfolio with over 800 SKUs. Their offerings encompass an array of items including sauces, dressings, spices, flour products, condiments, and popcorn.

KiSabor products are distributed to more than 3,000 retailers and wholesalers throughout Brazil. Headquartered in São Paulo, the company markets notable brands such as Billy & Jack, Aroma das Índias, KiSabor, and D’Cheff.

In its announcement, Acon emphasized its commitment to partnering with KiSabor’s skilled management team, which features CEO Donizeti Ferreira, CFO Flavia Tempeste, and industrial director Leandro Tempeste, to actively accelerate the company’s growth strategy.

Acon partner Rodrigo Galvão stated: “KiSabor has established itself as a high-quality producer of branded consumer food products, particularly appealing to health-conscious consumers.”

“We expect, with this investment, to accelerate the expansion of its distribution network and brand presence throughout Brazil.”

This deal represents Acon’s 44th investment in Latin America. The firm manages private equity funds and special purpose partnerships focusing on investments in the US, Latin America, and Europe.

Acon director Diogo Yano remarked, “Acon possesses extensive experience in the branded consumer food sector, highlighted by our recent successful exit from Dori, a leading Brazilian manufacturer and distributor of salty snacks and candy products.”

Over the last 29 years, Acon has effectively managed $7.2 billion in assets across 86 platform investments and 137 add-on acquisitions, featuring professionals based in key cities including Washington, D.C., Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, São Paulo, Madrid, Mexico City, and Bogotá.
