LOUPE Americas 2026, the first event under the new LOUPE banner prepares to open its doors Food and Beverage Business

With only a day to go before LOUPE Americas 2026 (formerly Labelexpo Americas) opens at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, final preparations are underway for the first Americas edition under the LOUPE banner.

Taking place on 15–17 September and building on more than 25 years of heritage, LOUPE Americas returns with an expanded technology focus covering labels, narrow and mid-web flexible packaging and in-line carton converting. The event offers exhibitors expanded market reach across the packaging sector and access to new customer segments.

What you need to know:

Technology in action across the show floor
LOUPE Americas 2026 will showcase how technology developed for label production is increasingly being applied across a broader range of packaging segments. Attendees will also be able to see equipment operating live, providing an opportunity to assess new technologies and applications in a real production environment.

Among the technology highlights across over 400 exhibitors taking part, BOBST will run live demonstrations of its DIGITAL MASTER 340, while Mark Andy will feature its HighSpeed 1200 hybrid press and Performance Series S9 flexographic platform, demonstrating the continuing evolution of label and flexible packaging production. Also on the show floor, HP will showcase the HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press and 200K Digital Press, printing both labels and flexible packaging in highly automated, AI-driven workflows.

Opening keynote with Mintel
The two-day conference program opens on 15 September highlighting the keynote on packaging trends that will define the next decade presented by Lauren Ryder, Global Packaging Analyst at Mintel, and Chelsea McDougall, Editor and Content Director at Labels & Labeling. The session will examine the consumer, technology, sustainability and retail trends expected to shape labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons over the next decade.

The content across the two-day conference program will cover a range of timely topics such as automation, smart packaging, sustainability, workforce development, diversification into flexible packaging and folding cartons, and long-term business planning with an executive-level converter panel.

Community and networking
Beyond the show floor and two-day conference program, LOUPE Americas 2026 offers opportunities to connect, including community activities such as the ‘LOOP to LOUPE’ industry run which takes place on 14 September and the Labels and Labeling Global Awards on 15 September. Attendees are encouraged to plan their schedules to make the most of these networking moments with peers, partners, and customers.

On 16 September, TLMI’s Label Leaders of Tomorrow (LLT) and FTA’s LIFT will host IRL: Emerging Leaders Meetup bringing together emerging leaders from across the label, packaging, and printing industries, along with professionals from partner associations who are passionate about shaping the future of manufacturing and print.

There will also be an engaging roundtable discussion panel: Women in Focus, exploring topics including mentorship, personal branding and balancing work and life. This workshop will be moderated by Jade Grace, Managing Director, LOUPE Global (formerly Labelexpo) and will feature Kara Demirjian Huss, President & Founder, DCC Marketing, Jessica Ashley Garmon, Chief Operating Officer & Chief General Counsel, The Will Group, Maria Doughty, President & CEO, The Chicago Network and Kristen Shields, President, Graymills Corporation.

For exhibitors, the final week before the show marks the culmination of months of preparation as booths are completed and teams get ready to meet customers, prospects and industry colleagues from across the Americas and beyond.

With hundreds of live demonstrations and 45 educational sessions featuring 65 speakers, the event will provide delegates from over 70 countries with a platform to explore new technology, exchange ideas and build relationships across labels and package printing.

Tasha Ventimiglia, Group Director, Americas, said: “LOUPE Americas 2026 will bring together leaders in labels, flexible packaging, and in-line carton converting to deliver actionable strategies which attendees can use immediately.
