Thermoformed packaging specialist, Kingsmoor Packaging, has appointed Kieran Thomas as business development manager. The move further strengthens its commercial team as the company continues to invest in customer relationships and support its continued growth.
Bringing more than 12 years’ experience in the thermoforming industry, Kieran joins Kingsmoor with a broad understanding of manufacturing operations, having progressed through customer service, procurement and production planning roles. Most recently, he spent four and a half years as a production planner, giving him valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by manufacturers and packaging buyers alike.
Reporting directly to MD, James Hill, Kieran will be responsible for developing and supporting both existing and new customer accounts. Working closely with customers, he will ensure their requirements are fully understood while keeping them informed of Kingsmoor’s latest products, services and manufacturing capabilities. His role will include regular customer visits, site meetings and ongoing communication, helping customers maximise the benefits of Kingsmoor’s thermoformed packaging expertise.
Kieran was attracted to Kingsmoor by the opportunity to broaden his experience within the thermoforming sector by moving into a customer-facing commercial role, while continuing to build on his technical knowledge.
Commenting on his appointment, Kieran said: “I’m excited to be moving into a sales role and gaining experience in an area of thermoforming that I hadn’t previously been exposed to, while continuing to build my technical knowledge. Kingsmoor appealed to me immediately because I started my career in a family-owned business and really enjoyed that environment. Everyone I’ve met throughout the interview process and during my first few days has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, making it a team I want to be part of.”
He added: “I’m looking forward to getting stuck in, developing my own skills and growing alongside the team as Kingsmoor enters its next phase of growth.”
