Fuchs Lubricants Co. is highlighting its advanced, NSF H1-registered food-grade grease, the Cassida FM Grease CSC EP Series.

This grease is engineered to ensure the dependable operation of critical food and beverage processing machinery, especially in scenarios where incidental food contact may occur. Made using a calcium sulfonate complex thickener paired with white mineral oils, the series provides essential lubrication, protective capabilities, and reliability that enhance both productivity and regulatory compliance.

The Cassida FM Grease CSC EP 1 and 2 variants offer exceptional mechanical stability, even in dry and wet environments, exhibiting only minor changes in consistency through rigorous roll stability tests. Such stability ensures that the grease remains in position, retains its form, and shields components from ongoing mechanical strain and exposure to water. With outstanding tackiness and resistance to water spray-off, it is particularly ideal for settings subjected to frequent high-pressure washdowns, which could otherwise remove lubricants from exposed parts.

This grease series boasts a broad operating temperature range, effectively resisting oil bleed and preserving its structural stability at high temperatures due to its elevated dropping point. It also maintains good mobility in frigid environments, down to -20°C (-4°F), making it suitable for cold storage and refrigeration areas. This versatility allows maintenance teams to consolidate their use of a single food-grade grease across various temperature zones in their facilities, streamlining both their inventory management and relubrication processes.

For components that endure heavy loads, the Cassida FM Grease CSC EP delivers exceptional extreme pressure and anti-wear attributes, showcasing a high 4-ball weld load along with minimal wear scar, while also maintaining low friction. These qualities contribute to extending the lifecycle of bearings, decreasing wear-related breakdowns, and minimizing unexpected downtime for equipment like conveyors, mixers, and pumps that operate under significant loads or at high velocities, promoting extended maintenance intervals and lowered grease usage.

Suitable for roller and plain bearings, mechanical linkages, electric motor bearings, pump shafts, and centralized lubrication systems, the Cassida FM Grease CSC EP series meets various operational needs. The NLGI 2 grade excels in high-temperature, steam-filled, or high-speed applications, whereas the NLGI 1 grade is tailored for automated and centralized systems where reliable pumpability is paramount. Additionally, this series holds NSF H1 registration and is certified Kosher and Halal.
