The 2026 Sustainable Food Awards are open to entries. Organised by Ecovia Intelligence, the aim of the Sustainable Food Awards is to inspire positive change by recognising organisations and innovations that are helping build a sustainable food industry.
The awards have five distinct categories…
- New Sustainable Product: awarded to new food / beverage products with strong sustainability credentials.
- Sustainable Ingredient: awarded to new ingredients that make a positive sustainability contribution to food and / or beverages.
- Sustainable Packaging: awarded to new packaging formats that have a lower environmental impact.
- Sustainability Pioneer: awarded to operators undertaking pioneering activities to advance sustainability in the food industry.
- Sustainability Start-up (new for 2026): awarded to start-ups with ground-breaking sustainability ingredients, products, or solutions.
Entries are open to food & beverage brands, retailers & distributors, ingredient suppliers, packaging firms, NGOs, and related organisations.
The closing date for entries is 8 May. The finalists will be announced on 26 May, and the winners at the awards reception on 18 June. The awards reception will be co-hosted alongside the European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit, taking place on 18-19 June.
Gold and silver winners will be selected in each award category by an external judging panel. Winners will benefit from industry recognition of their sustainability achievements. Previous winners (2025) of the Sustainable Food Awards included
