Virtus Brands partners with Parfetts for distribution deal

Drinks group Virtus Brands signs Parfetts distribution deal

In a strategic move to expand their market reach, the Dudley-based firm Virtus Brands has partnered with Parfetts’ drop shipping scheme. This collaboration provides them access to 1,000 independent retailers nationwide through Parfetts’ symbol group.

Parfetts, known for stocking over 9,000 products in its network of cash and carry depots, offers a platform for brands to connect with consumers through its symbol group consisting of Go Local, The Local, and Go Local Extra outlets.

As an approved supplier on Parfetts’ list, Virtus Brands can now offer and distribute their range of products including vodka, tequila, prosecco, and Champagne through Parfetts’ direct-to-store partnership with Procuria, a discount buying organization.

Virtus Brands, known for their Jatt Life ultra-premium vodka, has recently welcomed Tony Houlston as the new sales director, bringing with him 30 years of experience in the UK food and drink retail sector.

After the successful opening of a major depot in Birmingham last year, Parfetts has created new opportunities for brands in the Midlands, a stronghold for Virtus Brands.

Looking ahead, Virtus Brands is planning activation events at stores across the country. Retailers can also look forward to receiving a complimentary case of Virtus Brand’s exclusive Pink prosecco with their first order.

Baz Kooner, the founder of Virtus Brands who launched Jatt Life in 2020, views the drop shipping deal as a key component in their growth strategy. This partnership enables the company to both promote and supply their products efficiently as they pursue their ambitious growth plans.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the partnership, Baz Kooner stated, “The dream for Virtus Brands is for our brands to be stocked worldwide in high-end bars and restaurants and big-name retailers, and signing this deal with Parfetts is a major step on the road for us.”

He added, “One of the biggest challenges as a growing business is being able to raise awareness and generate demand and then being able to supply enough products to meet it. Parfetts’ drop shipping arrangement helps solve both of those products for us.”

As consumer preferences shift towards independent brands offering unique products, Virtus Brands is poised to meet the growing demand by expanding their presence in the market and making their products more accessible to consumers.
