Three Robins is expanding its award-winning oat milk range by introducing two innovative oat milk-based smoothies designed specifically for children aged 3 to 12. These smoothies offer a winning combination of health benefits, great taste, and convenience.
What sets these fibre-rich smoothies apart is their lack of added sugar and the inclusion of beneficial vegetables such as carrot, parsnip, courgette, and beetroot – ingredients that many parents struggle to incorporate into their children’s diets. The Super Berry variant contains 45% vegetable content, while the Totally Tropical variant contains 25% vegetable content.
Positioned as the ultimate lunchbox treat or on-the-go snack for health-conscious parents seeking a convenient option that is low in sugar, these nutritious smoothies are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals including B12, B2, D, folic acid, and iodine. They are not only suitable for lactose-intolerant individuals but also cater to families looking for delicious, plant-based alternatives.
Launched in May 2022, Three Robins is the brainchild of Karen Robinson, a passionate advocate for women’s rights in conflict-affected regions. Inspired by her lactose-intolerant son, Robinson identified a gap in the market for a family-friendly oat milk brand that prioritizes health and taste.
Robinson states, “As a mother, I was disappointed by the limited options available on the market that met the needs of our family. I was concerned about the high levels of sugar in so-called ‘healthy’ snacks and the lack of nutritious, plant-based treats that my children would enjoy.”
Furthermore, the long shelf life of these innovative smoothies makes them ideal for retailers and foodservice outlets looking to minimize wastage. The smoothies will be available for purchase at £1.89 for a 100g serving.
Three Robins is proud to be associated with the Good Food Programme and Karen Robinson is an active member of the Buy Women Built movement.
