Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co and Aldi announce the comeback of their collaboration with the release of two fruit-infused beers

Food and Drink Technology

Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co is set to make a return to Aldi in 2024, offering two vegan-friendly beers under the brand name ‘The Hop Foundry.’ The Salford-based brewery will introduce a new Pineapple Pale Ale and bring back the popular Watermelon Pale Ale. Both beers are exclusively brewed and branded for Aldi and will be available in 1,200 stores nationwide from April to September.

Infused with fruity undertones, these ales are perfect for gatherings such as BBQs and picnics, providing shoppers with a fresh and light drink option for the Easter season and summer ahead. CEO Keith McAvoy expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “It is a fantastic achievement to be invited back for a second year to work with Aldi. This opportunity allowed us to craft a new bespoke beer for ‘The Hop Foundry,’ building on our learnings from 2023.”

In recent years, Seven Bro7hers has expanded its reach beyond its own webshop, convenience stores, and bars, securing listings with major retailers such as Asda, Co-Op, Spar, Booths Supermarket, and Amazon. The brewery recently completed a successful crowdfunding campaign, raising £500k to upgrade their canning line and increase production capacity to meet growing demand.

Looking ahead, the company plans to establish a new base location by 2026, featuring a brewhouse, distillery, packaging facilities, and an onsite taproom and restaurant. These expansion plans, coupled with partnerships like the Aldi deal, position Seven Bro7hers as one of the fastest-growing craft breweries in the UK.

Founded in 2014 by the McAvoy brothers, Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co has grown from their father’s home-brewing in their cellar to a thriving business known for its innovative and quality brews. The brewery’s commitment to craftsmanship and community involvement continues to drive its success in the competitive craft beer market.
