The “Boost Your Burger” initiative is set to inspire shoppers to enhance their burgers with additional items such as onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocados for a restaurant-style experience. According to Elaine Rothballer, head of marketing consumer brands at Kepak, the campaign will help Rustlers tap into the “fakeaway” trend by encouraging consumers to recreate their favorite restaurant dishes at home amidst the rising cost of living.
Furthermore, Rothballer says that this campaign will allow Rustlers to help retailers build basket spend by promoting additional purchases. More than 500 independent convenience stores will benefit from tear-off shelf talkers provided by Kepak’s team of Rustlers reps. These shelf talkers will include recommendations such as the Rustlers Quarter Pounder with bacon, jalapenos, and chipotle mayonnaise, the Rustlers Sausage Muffin with egg, bacon, and mushrooms, and the Rustlers BBQ Rib with onions, cheese, and jalapenos.
The goal of this campaign is to empower consumers to step up their burger game and enjoy restaurant-quality burgers without leaving the comfort of their homes. By offering a wide variety of toppings and flavors, Rustlers aims to serve up a diverse range of options to meet every burger lover’s taste preferences and inspire more creativity in the kitchen.
