Over the Moo introduces chocolate ice cream bites to their on-the-go menu

Over the moo adds on-the-go offering with chocolate ice cream bites

Over the Moo is ready to introduce its newest flavor, a portable version of its popular Australian tub flavor, ‘Choc Choc Who’s There’, just in time for Summer. Despite the plethora of unique tub flavors available such as Pralines n Cream, Pistachio & Lemon, Peanut Butter, Ginger & Honey, and Hot Cross Bun, it is the classic flavors that continue to capture our tastebuds.

Recent forecasts for 2023 confirm that vanilla remains the top-selling ice cream flavor in the UK, followed by chocolate and Cookie Dough. Over the Moo has had a successful first year of trading with their plant-based ice cream bites, catering to the demand for healthier on-the-go options in the ice cream market and challenging outdated notions about plant-based products.

In 2023, 12% of ice cream innovation in the UK was non-cow milk themed, yet this only accounted for 4-5% of total sales. Over the Moo founder, Simon Goldman, acknowledges the scope for improvement based on customer feedback. They have worked on enhancing the melting time and texture of their ice cream, aiming to create a more indulgent experience for their customers.

By sourcing coconuts sustainably from trusted suppliers in Indonesia and the Philippines, Over the Moo is demonstrating its commitment to environmentally friendly practices and providing a delicious alternative to traditional dairy-based ice cream. The Chocolate Ice Cream pouches will be available for £3.99 each, launching on 24th June.
