Menopause Tea by D’Amazonia: Redefining Wellness for Women

D’Amazonia, an award-winning pioneer in wellbeing infusions, is expanding its product lineup with a new mass-market Menopause brew set to launch in 2024. This release is just one of several highly relevant functional brews scheduled for release this year.

In the UK, there are currently 13 million women who are perimenopausal or menopausal, constituting one-third of the female population. Menopausal women are the fastest-growing demographic in the workforce, with eight out of ten actively working, according to the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. The average age of menopause in the UK is 51, with one in 100 women experiencing it before the age of 40. Common symptoms include fatigue, sleep disturbances, night sweats, hot flushes, heart palpitations, anxiety/irritability, and muscular aches.

The new Menopause brew, formulated with nine beneficial ingredients including hibiscus, rosehip, passion flower leaf, and hawthorn, was created by renowned scientist Dr. Carlos Tavares. Dr. Tavares, recognized as one of the most influential scientists in the world by Stanford University, holds a PhD in Pharmaceuticals & Medicine and possesses a profound understanding of the Amazonian biome.

According to D’Amazonia co-founder Marcela Tupinamba, the primary goal is to advocate for best-in-class hot beverages that offer a delightful blend of flavors, aromas, and lasting health benefits. “We started out with a digestive brew, a health & wellness beverage, and a superior sleep tea in 2021. Therefore, it made perfect sense that our fourth recipe tackled yet another mass-market ailment,” Tupinamba said.

Available for £11 per fully recyclable pouch, each containing 20 biodegradable pyramid tea bags that can be used twice, D’Amazonia has a partnership with One Tree Planted charity, ensuring a tree is planted for every order made.
