Shaken Udder, the UK’s leading premium milkshake brand, is excited to introduce two delectable new chocolate flavors to its range. Both Double Choc and White Choc will hit the shelves of Sainsbury’s stores across the country this week, starting from September 4th, 2023. These irresistible flavors will be prominently displayed in the front of store (meal deal) sections of both main estate supermarkets and Sainsbury’s Local stores.

The launch of Double Choc and White Choc comes as a response to the ever-growing demand for chocolate-flavored milkshakes among consumers. Shaken Udder’s Chocolush, an existing chocolate milkshake variant, has already gained immense popularity and is the brand’s best-selling flavor. In fact, 7 out of 10 of the top-performing SKUs in the flavored milk category are chocolate.

Highlighting the significance of these new additions, Jo Abram, the marketing director of Shaken Udder, emphasizes that chocolate has always been the most sought-after milkshake flavor within their range. She further adds, “We are thrilled to unveil Double Choc and White Choc, two mouthwatering chocolate flavors that perfectly embody indulgence and deliciousness. It’s worth noting that both flavors have been crafted to comply with HFSS regulations and contain only 5% added sugar.”

The White Choc milkshake boasts a lusciously creamy white chocolate base, whereas Double Choc presents a tantalizing blend of rich dark chocolate and velvety Belgian chocolate. As with all Shaken Udder milkshakes, these new flavors are free from artificial ingredients, suitable for vegetarians, and packaged in fully recyclable bottles.

With a current value of £25.7m and a double-digit year-on-year growth rate of +15.3%, the brand has firmly established itself as the number one premium milkshake brand in the UK.
