Andrew Glen, managing director of Riverside Greetings, expressed his enthusiasm for the newfound opportunity to collaborate with Ascona Retail and enter into a sole supply agreement.
He stated, “The group is highly ambitious, and we are eagerly anticipating the chance to drive the performance of the category for them.”
The roll-out of this partnership commenced in April and is expected to conclude by the middle of next month (July).
Paul Stoddart, trading director at Ascona Retail, emphasized the importance of having the right mix of seasonal and everyday cards in order to optimize the greeting card category’s performance.
He conveyed, “We look forward to nurturing and refining the category for our valued shoppers.”
