Belvita is partnering with a charity to make a positive impact by donating up to 100,000 meals to those in need. The charitable initiative, known as Belvita’s ‘Give a Smile’ campaign, not only aims to provide meals to FareShare but also strives to spark conversations and inspire further action to combat food insecurity.

Key to this initiative are innovative interactive facial recognition billboards, strategically placed across the country, which collect donations to FareShare based on the number of ‘smiles’ registered. By leveraging the power of positivity, Belvita aims to raise awareness and raise much-needed donations for FareShare.

Amy Lucas, the brand manager for Belvita at Mondelēz International, stated, “At Belvita, we firmly believe in the power of positive energy. It is ingrained in our brand ethos, as our nutritious wholegrains deliver positive energy. We are motivated to utilize the force of positivity to generate donations for FareShare.”

Belvita recognizes that even the smallest actions, such as smiling at a stranger, can significantly improve someone’s day. This realization inspired the brand to use smiles as a means to spread positivity and extend help to those in need.

To further support this cause, retailers are encouraged to stock up on the complete Belvita product range. This not only helps raise awareness for the ‘Give a Smile’ campaign but also directs shoppers to visit the Belvita Give a Smile website or look out for the billboards near stores. By doing so, retailers can actively contribute to the fight against food poverty.

Belvita’s new initiative is now live, commencing from Monday, 4 September. Together, through positive actions and genuine concern for others, we can make a difference in addressing the prevalent issue of food insecurity.
